Odin Hostel Shoja

The view is phenomenal; it faces the mountain range, it is so pretty with the snow all over the place, and the cafe is lively, with many people hanging out, playing board games, eating food, etc. The staff provided us with an electric heating blanket, and also replaced it when requested. The staff was very cooperative and didn't hesitate to accommodate all our requests to the best of their capabilities.

The curtains were short, so it was difficult covering the windows end to end. It left gaps which were a privacy concern. Considering the room was right on the ground floor with the entrance path next to the window for the cafe/other rooms. They didn't have a heater, but provided us with an electric heating blanket, and also replaced it when requested. There were frequent power cuts and voltage fluctuations, but that's not on the hotel but rather the extreme snow and weather.

Complete disappointment. The flush was not working at all. It was stinking whole night. There was no charging point in one room and frequent power cuts were there. The water also stopped in the morning which made us struggle to even brush and do basic stuff. Even basic amenities were missing during the stay. In addition to that the caretaker was super rude to us making the whole experience pathetic.

Staff is very humble. Location is amazing. Food is tasty. And you get to sit and paint your worries away leaving behind a part of you in Shoja.

Not well maintained. Hygiene and cleaning issues. Poor facilities. Geyser is not working properly, lot of mosquitoes in the room

Every thing was good ,good is also good and location.

Only thing i dint like is upside dorm where little uncomfortable to climb
