Woodland View -Hot Tub-Tenby-Carmarthen-St Clears

We had a great stay at Woodlands View. The place was clean, comfortable, and very peaceful, with beautiful surroundings and a relaxing atmosphere. Everything we needed was available, and the accommodation felt cosy and well looked after. Perfect for a quiet getaway and enjoying nature. We really enjoyed our time here and would happily stay again. Highly recommended!

The location and the hot tub

Its a shame but the lodge is in need of tlc/renovation. (It's location on site and what it could offer could be great)but the cleaning wasn't good, the furniture is not comfortable, bath didn't have a plug, so had to utilise the kitchen plug, both bathrooms need attention, grouting/silicone and the shower screen bottom plastic protector needs a good clean, the floor strip between different flooring needs looking at, the screws are standing proud and could cause an injury.

We recently stayed at Woodland View at Kaowood Country Park and absolutely loved the peaceful, remote setting. The lodge is nicely spaced away from others, which made the stay feel private and incredibly relaxing. The hot tub was a real highlight, perfect for unwinding, and the cabin itself was warm and cosy. The bed was very comfortable too, which made for great nights’ sleep.

Unfortunately, the lodge was let down by several cleanliness and maintenance issues that really need attention. It didn’t appear to have been cleaned properly for some time: there were cobwebs on the door frames, thick dust inside the radiators, and dust on the walls. We also found a Pringles lid left in the bedroom, and behind the sofa was dusty with bits of rubbish left behind it. The en‑suite shower room had visible mould, which was disappointing. The sofa itself was very low and uncomfortable, and the main bathroom shower barely produced more than a dribble of water. We also noticed that the emergency torch in the hallway didn’t work and seemed to have a dead battery.
