Need renovation

We spent just 1 night in the hostel and it was simple, good for this price. The staff was very kind, they helped us a lot with informations. The lady was cleaning a lot the small bathroom. Our room was small but with a comfortable bed. This is what we expected. there is good connection with the city center by bus

by foot the hostel is far from the center (maybe if somebody goes in summertime this is not a problem, the beach is close) and the neighbourhood is in bad condition

Good location, just 5 minutes to the beach and another 5 to very good-equipped supermarket. There is common fridge and kitchen

During our stay in Batumi there was like a 30 degrees. There is no air condition in our room nor fan. Room is so small that you can't even place your luggage.

Hostel California review It was one of the worst experiences ever. The lack of basic housing attributes made this week horrible. 1. Very small rooms without windows, ventilation and AC. Only two lockers for four guests in a room and a broken shelf. Double floored beds made from cheap steel make you feel like in a prison cell. 2. Hot water in shower turns off after one minute. Then you have to stand under freezing cold water for 5 minutes or even more waiting for warm to turn on again. 3. The host comes to the hostel with random relatives, who sometimes stays for the night and walks in and out of the rooms at 2 am. There where days, when they watched TV loud at night. 4. Constantly open rooms. There are no keys. Your stuff is always available to anybody. The hostel itself has two entrances, one of which is always open too. Such experience does not has to cost any money. The hostel has to be either closed or rebuilt from scratch
