Newbrough Bunkhouse

Excellent. It was cheap. Kitchen was small but well equipped. Better than an apartment I recently stayed in which cost alot more money. Loved the fact they provided snacks/meals at a small charge. I however had food and walked to the shop which is also well supplied. The pub was unfortunately not serving food due to a wedding party. Very easy instructions on getting in. Will definitely stay again. I had the room to myself which had 3 bunks.

The place looks newly refurbished, modern clean bathroom, comfy beds, kitchen with all amenities. The village is charming, surrounded by fields and forests. Good connection with the closest towns by bus, and close to the walking path along the river South Tyne.

Loves the feel of the community space. Lots of volunteers pulling together each week of the year. Providing a fabulous service to travellers and other visitors. Peaceful and meditative space xx

Very quiet place, but its perfect if you are visiting Hadrian's wall and the Roman forts around the area. I loved it! Very peaceful!

Clean, warm, comfortable and cheap.... they even have me a lift back to Hadrians wall as it's a little off the wall....
