There was nothing for me to like as it was out of my own travel destination. I dont blame the property, it was my wrong choice to select the place which was far from my place of travel. From one side we save money on Hostel rate but when we add fare cost from NYC to Newark, that becomes high. So its good for those who want to be in Newark area not for those want to explore NYC and tbeir flight is from JFK.

The check-in time 3pm and there is no permission to leave luggage and go to city. So need separate storage booking at own cost. The location is out of area and need to pay alot fares to get in there, so cost reaches at high. Not for those want to explore NYC. I just paid for one night to take shower and change cloths ans then ran to JFK which took 2 hours to reach.

If you want to be inspired by international travelers and practice speaking different languages, come here. This place is amazing, and I greatly enjoyed my stay here. Would come back in a heartbeat.

host was very friendly, location is really great. there are multiple trains and path stations, you live in fully equipped "apartments", there are curtains for privacy

You can tell the Owner deeply cares about this place and is personally invested in the guest's well-being. It was spotlessly clean, and my questions were answered promptly. The other guests have even given me some inspirational life wisdom to channel into my future endeavors. Would 100% stay here again!

Nothing about it.

I have traveled and stayed in numerous hostels and hotels of any kind and i have never came across a worse place like this one. If you give me money to stay at this hostel i would totally say no. I came to the hostel there was no one inside the owner was far away. I tried to reach out to them and they didn’t even answer my calls for more than half an hour and they made me wait in front the door for more than an hour. Then finally after i checked in in my room there was a person talking to himself and making strange noises constantly. I was worried i told the owner about that situation but he told me it is just fine and nothing will happen because he appeared to have been there for like a week. Then i left my luggages at the hostel and went to New York City. At night when i came back to my room the strange person that i worried has appeared to take a piss all over the floor including my luggages and everything got messed up. I left the hostel the next day and again when i tried to reach out to the owner to let him know that im leaving event hough i had paid for 2 nights i didn’t get any refunds or anything. Nevet ever come to this hostel!
