Banphe​ Hostel

单人房没有窗帘 浴室地漏堵 早上6点好几个泰国男的和一个小孩在房间外公共区域开电视，声音很大，可能是这个青旅的工作人员，很没有素质。

I checked in that evening without a reservation because I missed the ferry to the island. It wasn't a problem—I didn't have to wait. It was fine for a couple of nights. Great location, just a short walk from the ferry to the Ko Samet island.

The facilities were a bit makeshift, but why not

There was hell like hot in the room, and they had AirCondition but the remote control was taken (we had to pay extra money for it = this is totally not acceptable). Without air con it is not pissible to be alive in the room. This is not an extra but a basic need here (and they know it exactly). The room carpet is very dirty but you have to take off your shoes… (why???? 😂😂😂😂😂) And especially for woman solo travellers, there are creepy old mans living in the street (we were shocked how many of them choosen to “live” here)… I would not recommend it. One extra tip for your travel plan = Koh Samet is not worth it, they call it nature reserve but that is only cosmetics, it is a trash bin, just a about the money. The nature is fully destroyed here. That is the ugly truth.)

Standard hostel, my room was ok with a comfortable big bed, a bit hot though with just a fan, maybe I should have upgraded to AC... location is very good, near the pier

由民居改成的旅舍，房間很大，都安裝冷氣了。非常近便利店，很方便。類似民宿，所以廁所浴室都在房外共用。
