Kaganat Hostel

Staff was excellent, very helpful with everything:) Great hospitality. Room was very clean, the beds very comfy. Separate bathroom for women only are great add on. Tea and water was available for free :)

La chambre était propre. Cependant, même si cela fait partie de la culture locale, les tapis ne sont pas très hygiéniques selon moi : ils retiennent beaucoup de poussière, ce qui peut être problématique pour les personnes allergiques. Le principal problème concerne le sommeil. De la lumière provenant du couloir pénètre dans les chambres, car les portes sont en verre teinté. La chambre n’est donc jamais complètement sombre. De plus, l’isolation phonique est insuffisante et l’on entend facilement le bruit des autres occupants. Les salles de bains sont partagées. Durant notre séjour de deux jours, il a manqué du papier toilette à plusieurs reprises. Dans la cuisine, il manque des serviettes pour essuyer la vaisselle et des essuie-tout, ce qui est peu pratique pour les voyageurs. Enfin, l’ambiance dans la cuisine nous a semblé assez pesante. Certaines personnes présentes donnaient une impression de jugement constant, ce qui ne contribuait pas à une atmosphère accueillante.

Location in the city center. Complete daily facilities. Friendly staff especially the front desk lady. Well-cared environment without noises or any mess.

Very nice staff

A small, cosy hostel in an unbeatable central location, perfect for exploring the city on foot. The hostel is exceptionally clean and set on the third floor of the building, which keeps it pleasantly removed from the street noise below. The shared bathrooms are all private rooms and were consistently spotless. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming—special thanks to Asmat at reception, who we really enjoyed chatting with during our stay. A fantastic first stop in Kyrgyzstan.

We’re a little lost on arriving but that was because we didn’t realise the hostel was on level 3.

Asmat the receptionist was lovely, super welcoming and made our stay in Kaganat. The rooms were basic but comfortable with AC and sufficient power sockets. Rooms were clean and so were the bathrooms. Big kitchen with drinking water and plenty of utensils available. Central location with plenty of restaurants

Very local feeling- it seems like a lot of locals either live or frequent this hostel- not an issue for us but could be if looking to meet other travelers. Also a little difficult to gain entry to the hostel initially- we had to tailgate a resident into the building.

Extremely friendly stuff than can speak english really well. The Hostel is very clean, the showers clean and warm. The street is pretty busy, so the rooms that have windows in this direction can be a bit noisy, but you can still sleep very well. The beds are very confortable. We had a wonderful stay!
