The Outpost Dullstroom

Breakfast was not served, self catering unit.

Wifi was in shambles, casserole dish was not provided for braai, neither a brush or something to clean the grid, firelighter container was empty, no oven pan, had to ask for 1 to use oven. Arrived in rain & took some time to book in, so were quite wet by time I entered our unit.

Good location, close to Dullstroom town. Dog friendly accommodation with indoor and outdoor braai facilities. Reception sells fire wood and ice which is convenient.

Cottage looks a bit run down, could use a revamp. Very basic amenities- we had to request for salt and dishwashing liquid as the unit is not serviced on Sundays. Could not reach reception in the evening.

The cottage was situated in a quiet corner of the farm with a beautiful view over a dam.

There was a cat that was a bit annoying and the wifi didn't work on friday night. Other than that there is nothing to complain about

There is no breakfast on offer, which is fine. It is a beautiful farm with lovely views. We enjoyed the horses that roamed free on the farm, and our little dogs had a lot of room to play in. The nights are pitch black and you can see the stars.

The only thing about the farm that annoyed me a bit was the flies and the bugs at night if you leave a light on. This is a farm after all.
