"Alto Lock cabin"

Exceptional service from the owner. Beautiful surroundings and great atmosphere. Quiet place and you can enjoy the beautiful outdoors. Due to the rhino and lion park nearby you can hear the lion roars in the evening and during the night as well.

We do not have anything to say because there are nothing that we didn't like.

"Beautiful, serene, comfortable little log cabin in the wild."

The little log cabin is exactly as the pictures show. So peaceful, comfortable and serene. The roaring of the lions and the mischievous noises of the wild dogs were a treat. Beautiful sunsets and sunrises. The horse ride on Butternut was lovely. The cabin has everything you need including tea, coffee, rusks, milk, peaceful sleep, doom and the list goes on.

During loadshedding the solar geyser pump doesn't work, so hot water during loadshedding is a problem. The toilet doesn't flush very well. The dirt road is quite a mission which the hosts mention from the onset. If you have a low ground clearance car, go verry slowly and you'll make it.
