Vel House

The guest house was in a great location in the old town of Plovdiv. The Internet worked well once I had the correct log in information.

I didn’t have access to the Internet when I first got to Plovdiv so I didn’t know how to get in to the guest house. The information for the Internet log in had not been updated so at first I couldn’t use the Internet. There was a bag of dirty laundry in the hall the two nights I was there. Personally it bothered me that I never saw anyone who was “running” the guest house, but that’s me. Once I figured out this is common for this type of accommodation I switched some of my other reservations. I like to see someone and be able to get help (for example, order a taxi) when I need it. The person was responsive but the only way I had Internet access that first day was because the restaurant where I had lunch let me log in on theirs.

Great location and vibe! Clean and easy to find and use! Host are super responsive and nice.

Stairs are a lot and just in front of the toilet.
