"Great place to Stay."

Big and spacious. Great View. Very good kitchen. Staff are friendly. Very nice view and stars.

Housefly in the room. Req them to come clean. There after no issuse. Maybe its due to farm stay.

"We weren’t in our room much as we arrived later one evening, were on a day tour to Milford Sound the next day, and left"

Nice rustic property about 9km from TeAnau, so you definitely need a car. The setting in the trees was very nice. It’s nice they have a community kitchen and dining area if one is interested in cooking.

It’s pretty basic. It would have been nice to have a wash cloth and a hairdryer.

"If you are driving and don't mind budget digs this is an excellent place to stay"

Spacious, well priced, well equipped shared facilities (cooking, lounge), ample parking, quiet despite the number of guests. Great views from the top of the hill. Some comments I saw mentioned grumpy/indifferent staff and it was not my experience. Everyone I talked to on staff were nice and helpful.

Our unit was dated. They are doing some renovation work, so hopefully that will get better. The laundry is expensive because the dryer is not very good. We ran it twice and clothes were still not entirely dry.

Host is great, Views from the cabin window are superb. . . Amazing sunsets. . Property has a lovely feel with amazing character. Very smooth stay.

"A cosy room with spectacular views"

Wonderful cosy rooms with spectacular views. The barn was a great space.

Just some small things - no bedside tables so has to put meds on the floor, only 1 pillow each (would have appreciated a second one), tv was completely useless - no channels available at all (would have been nice to have something to wind down at the end of a long day)

Fantastic place. Awesome view from the hut, friendly staff, lot of space in the room, huge shared kitchen and eating area.

It was cold in the hut but thankfully there was an additional heater available :)
