Cabaña en el Bosque de San José del Pacífico 3

Casetta nel bosco incantevole! immersa nella natura perfetta per rilassarsi e staccare la mente. La casa è davvero accogliente e spaziosa, con dei bellissimi balconi dove sedersi. Mi è piaciuto molto la possibilità di accendere il fuoco e utilizzare le amache. Non abbiamo avuto nessuno problema a raggiungere la casa anche con un auto bassa normale, basta fare attenzione.

Solo un consiglio per migliorare l'esperienza, aggiungerei un rilevatore per il monossido di carbonio in modo tale da poter andare a dormire con la stufa accesa con più tranquillità. Per lo stesso motivi aggiungerei un chiavistello per chiudere la porta scorrevole dall'interno. aggiungerei infine un appendiabiti e uno stendino.

This place really exceeded our expectations!! The cabin was sooo beautiful and really large (we had two stories with terraces, a furnace and two large beds)! The cabins are super comfortable and very tranquil. The view from the terrace is awesome! Location is remote (about 15-20 min walk to the main street). It wasn’t an issue for us and also means you are staying in the middle of the forest and it’s very quiet! It wasn’t sketchy or anything to get here in the evening. The tuktuks drive all the way to the house. We were able to check in early with a key box 👌

We loved it here! You do have to be ok with being a bit away from main amenities and that it’s very calm here. While we had no issues here, it would be good if the security aspect was improved. Since the cabin itself cannot be locked, someone could have gone around the gate and get access to our things.

Super nice cabin in the woods, with hot water, fireplace in the nature, hosts are super responsive and kind, about 8 min from Main Street with mototaxi, walk is a bit challenging but also doable

The privacy and the view amazing! We enjoy our stay the bed was very comfy and nice hot shower also WiFi was good. The fireplace outside and inside your cabin very nice touch. The communication with the host was great We will come back! Thank you

The cabin itself is very beautiful and very secluded, so you are really disconnected from the crowds and noise, good for a romantic getaway!

The road to the cabin. I’d recommend first of all to drive only during the day, because the road is full of holes and speed bumps, besides, the way from the highway to the cabin is very bumpy, steep and narrow, so be very careful while driving. Better if you have a 4x4, otherwise you may not get back. Another thing, there are no charging stations for your electronics, only one small house outside to charge them, I didn’t love that. And despite us trying to get the water to warm up, we couldn’t, so we ended up taking cold showers.

The cabanas are high in the mountains. Beautiful area. Peaceful. The wood burning stove kept the cabana comfortably warm. Earlier posts saying there's no heat are completely false! The unpaved road was not a problem, even in the rainy season. I don't agree, at all, with earlier posts about the road requiring 4X4.

If you are looking for a peaceful stay, surrounded by nature, there is nothing to dislike.
