Hostel Mirror

★★★★ The dorm part of Hostel Mirror is a converted basement — one mixed dorm, a small bathroom off the kitchen, compact throughout. No window in the bathroom, so humidity clears via the door or the ventilation holes in it, which is common practice in these kinds of spaces. Go in knowing that and it won't bother you. It's basic, but everything you actually need is there. The kitchen is small and fully equipped, towels are provided — hand towels, but fresh ones daily — and the lockers are on the smaller side, enough for your valuables rather than your whole bag. Worth packing accordingly. Now, Tiffani. On arrival I'll be honest — she caught me off guard. But she has an absolute heart of gold and is genuinely hilarious once you settle in. On my last morning I blacked out due to low blood sugar, and without hesitating she went down the road and came back with salty food to get me sorted for my bus trip. That kind of kindness is rare, and it says everything about the place. The location is excellent — a short walk to the north end of the Old Town and right near the bus stop, which is a real bonus when you're heading in or out of Mostar. For the price, it more than earns its keep. I'd stay again. Good to know: converted basement — no natural light in the bathroom, humidity managed via door ventilation. Lockers are small, valuables only. Hand towels provided but replaced daily. Very close to the Old Town and bus stop.

What a gem! The host is such an amazing person. She welcomed us straight away to the hostel and the city, and made sure everything's alright during our stay. Everything was clean and well-maintained. I felt like in a 5-star hotel, really! Our room had even air-conditioning and a shared balcony. The kitchen was also exceptionally clean and provided us with everything we needed for cooking. The location is close to old town and the main bus station, which were the key places during our stay. The entrance to the hostel is maybe a bit "hidden", as my map didn't show the right address at first and we had to look around for a bit, but at the same time the location adds to the feeling of privacy, which we really liked!

El hostel es como estar en casa. Tiene todo lo suficiente para un estadía corta o.larga, lo que prefieras. Tiffany una genia total..con sus reglas bien explicadas con amabilidad y calidez. Lugar súper cálido y seguro. Volvería sin dudas . Ubicación excelente. Cerca de la estación de bus del centro y.del.old.town

A guy next to my bed, had a horrible smell (probably something he smoked) but gave a hard time cause I started coughing and couldn’t sleep very well. However, nothing to do with the hostel.
