Ivory Tower Hostel

The bathrooms are nicely decorated and very clean. The beds seem new, mine was certainly quite comfortable. Each room has an a/c unit, and they've got a few big fans. Checkout until 12 was a plus! There are two rooms for hanging out and a small balcony, the hostel has a nice vibe and great staff. There's a full kitchen with a coffee machine, laundry, etc. Downstairs is a really nice Italian pizza place, and the location is excellent, 3 minutes to Serdika station. I really enjoyed my stay here!

Some peeling paint on the ceilings that needs to be scraped off, they're working on the place. As I understand they are under new management as of a few weeks ago.

Location is in the center.

Need sheets not washed. Hairs, stains on them. Bumps on the skin after the stay. Bed broken, falling down when moving. Recommended to avoid that place.

Das Haus ist mitten in der Stadt, perfekt für Erkundungen und zum Ausgehen. Die Managerin (die Dame) ist sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Wir hatten zu zweit ein 5 Bett Zimmer für eine Nacht. Durften früher einchecken, weil das Zimmer schon frei war, danke. Die Betten waren gemütlich, Steckdosen am Bett, heiße Dusche, Wifi hat einwandfrei funktioniert, automatische Kaffeemaschine in der Küche, Gepäckaufbewahrung.

Wir hatten viele Stechmücken im Zimmer. Der Manager (der Mann) war etwas übermotiviert, z.b. kam er ohne zu klopfen ins Zimmer. Das Haus ein wenig heruntergekommen.

Les gens sont extrêmement gentils et accueillan, il y a toujours quelqu'un sur place. L'autre point positif est que ce ne sont que des lits simples (pas en hauteur) même dans les chambres partagées.

The hostel is located in the city center, and late-night check-in was possible, which was convenient.

The hostel was an absolute nightmare. It was infested with bedbugs — not just one or two, but everywhere. I was bitten multiple times and developed rashes that were painful and extremely uncomfortable. It was genuinely traumatizing. Bedbugs can transmit diseases and should be treated as a serious health hazard, but the hosts didn’t seem to care at all. The place was also filthy, poorly maintained, and completely insecure — no keys, no lockable rooms, and a very unsafe atmosphere. The hosts were unbelievably rude and dismissive. I couldn’t even make it through the night and had to leave just to protect my health. This was hands down the worst accommodation I’ve ever experienced. I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone — not even for one night.

That it's not overcrowded..I like that have a pet -cat is very smiley.
