Ocean Backpackers self-catering hostel

Good location in centre of Ilfracombe. We had private en-suite double room which was comfortable and adequate for our needs. We were starting the Devon C2C cycle the following day and they had space available to lock bikes in the cellar (NB low ceiling height)

Next to the cburch which chimes every hour which wakes the seagulls up, so it's quite noisy

For a hostel, it exceeded expectations. Really clean, lovely staff, great facilities - including free tea & coffee - and perfect location. Loved it.

Emplacement parfait au coeur d'Ilfracombe. Auberge bien équipée et conviviale. Equipe jeune et sympathique. C'est un bon rapport qualité/prix.

Le lavabo de la salle de bain est trop petit et il est intégré sur le réservoir des toilettes. On s'en accommode pour quelques jours, mais ce n'est pas ce qu'il y a de plus pratique.

Grande chambre avec des « vraies »fenêtres qui s’ouvrent en grand Auberge de jeunesse familiale. Super chouette ! Grande sdb claire, propre ! Bonne ambiance et cuisine très bien équipée

Shower is a push button - temperature was impossible to regulate
