Friendly staff, central location, very well equipped

My spouse accidentally damaged a balcony door handle and we have been asked to pay an estimated amount (by the hostel) of 300 EUR for this handle. Noting also that just the handle has been broken off with the lock remaining perfectly intact. The amount does seem exorbitant for a single handle and the invoiced amount was only based on staff estimates and it was not noted that the door is locked. Be careful with their staff as you will be asked to pay on the spot.

The location! Just about a 10 min walk to the main gondola. Very close to the bars and restaurants. The staff were very nice. Kitchen is stocked and coffee is made every morning. Heaters in the ski room for ski boots. Easy to arrive and depart by train.

All the doors slam hard shut, making a ton of noise. There is a night club that you can hear all night, but there are ear plugs available. There is only one option for showering for 8 women in the women’s only dorm. I still enjoyed my stay :)
