The staff was very nice

Such a nice friendly hostel in a great location. The staff, especially Dani, looks after the hostel and the guests like it is her own home. She is always caring for the guests, keeping things clean and attending to needs. The hostel is quiet and the private room I had was comfortable and clean, the bed was comfortable and plenty of space for my belongings. Access to tea and coffee all day, and a nice area to have breakfast and cook. They have non dairy milk which is important for me. It’s a short walk to the ultramar ferry port and the beaches. It’s not a party hostel, it’s nice and quiet.

The room lock could be more secure. The front door lock could be opened by anyone, they should fix the door so It cannot be. The younger female volunteer don’t think that the front door lock is important. The breakfast is very basic but good enough. There isn’t anywhere to relax outside in the sun, don’t expect that, you have to go to the beach.

The washrooms got nersty in the morning and one of the toilets was often clogged after the morning rush (delicate plumbing). Guests were good about not flushing their paper (common on the island), but staff could have been more diligent about emptying the waste baskets.

Great friendly and helpful staff. Outstanding location . Nice room with a very comfortable bed .I will definitely stay here when I enjoy this island again!!

Idiots knocking on the door who forgot their keys at 3 am.

- Great location a 5 minute walk from the ferry port and close to lots of local beaches - Tidy rooms and comfortable beds - Such kind and helpful staff - particularly Dani and Wen! - Delicious breakfast every day with fresh fruit and avocado

- Obviously slightly more pricey than a normal hostel because it’s in Isla Mujeres - the bathroom could have been cleaner and one of the toilets was often blocked - Only the top bunks have privacy curtains, not necessarily an issue for everyone but worth mentioning

Is very welcoming and worm environment I was feeling in family most of the time, Dani was very helpful all the time, giving me recommendations where to have the best local food and seen sigh.

The staff was friendly, responsive and made me feel welcome!
