The shuttle bus to Tongariro crossing is right outside the hostel, super convenient. Bed is comfy and room is clean. Nice facilities.

The outside of the rooms in the climbing hall are a bit dark. Couldn’t see the key hall without flashing lights.

Was a lovely location and all the windows seem to have a great view of the volcano!

Mattresses were a bit uncomfy but not terrible

Short walk from train station- in centre of village.- unusual climbing wall in centre of hostel. Very rustic

Bed was very uncomfortable- mattress was thin foam. Should have researched mire and maybe stayed somewhere more central- Long walks even to the short hikes- so if not doing the big hikes then nothing really to do except walk around village.
