Oasis Hostel

Nice breakfast. Eggs, refried beans, real orange juice, great coffee, cereal. Very nice roof patio with a lovely breeze.

Pillows are rock hard. The dorms would benefit from having some shelves, a place to hang clothes and a few chairs.

Comfy room. Ample common space. Has a friendly atmosphere since some of the rooms are hostel. Breakfast was yum.

It’s a bit far from Zona Romántica and Centro, but I knew that when I booked so it doesn’t affect my score.

Very friendly staff and simple but delicious included breakfast (omelette or pancakes). The location is okay, not too far from the center and with several bus stops close by. The hostel gives you a lock for your locker

The building is quite old, the shower in the female dorm didn’t have hot water and the bathrooms smelled a little bad sometimes

VERY clean and maintained well+ the volunteer workers were very cool

I am an old guy so it was a little far from everything but that's OK I figured out how to take the bus

The staff were friendly. The air con was appreciated.

On our second, a whole family (kids in diapers included) moved in and took up the whole hostel. Fine, except we were expecting (and it's marketed as) a social adult hostel. Toilet being in the shower was a bit odd.

The breakfast was really good! Freshly made eggs with tomato, onion and beans. The people working there were really kind, I felt very welcome and felt very much like a family-like place. Besides, the hostel looks really nice :) Oh and also the bus is really nearby! And lots of shops, ATM etc as well.
