y charger was stolen!! in the cameras weren’t connected!! when I told the manager he didn’t care at all.. My food was stolen and eaten by other residence , the showers are at the middle of the backyard..

A nice place with hammocks in close proximity to the beach. Staff helped a lot once I needed. Cannot complain.

The beds, the mattress were really in really bad shape and the sheets were awful.

This hostel is simply the worst place I've stayed in my whole life. It's very dirty everywhere( dorms, kitchen and toilets), built right next to a very smelly sewer full of disgusting rats that during the night infest the kitchen and often eat the guests' food. The owner, an Indian guy who also runs an Indian restaurant located on the same garden as the hostel, is a very rude, unpleasant, aggressive and intrusive person who argues with guests most of the time and he even tried to touch a girlfriend of mine. I reported him to the police and I'm begging this website to remove his hostel from your listing as it's not at all a safe place to stay

Location

Everything in the room is very cheap quality: from the mattress, to bedsheets, shower, curtains, lights, towels, … . There’s also a strong smell of humidity all the time. The noise you hear from the street is almost unbearable. The owner (not from Costa Rica) has always an excuse for anytime you want to report something that is not working. I didn’t change to another place cause refund was not possible and I had already paid a lot of money (definitely not worth it) for this.

The accommodation needs more recognition for everything it has to offer in Santa Teresa and at an affordable price. It's a cold shower but in all fairness that doesn't really matter. When you search for accommodation in Santa Teresa " Casa Del Sol" is the first place to come up however this is somewhat misleading because it's actually the (TENT) you're looking at until you decide to book your accommodation. This is extremely calculative in order to get the interest from potential customers... - This I don't like as it's calculative marketing. Otherwise I can happily recommend it with no issues.

The owners were fantastic. The place was kept very clean and welcoming. There was an issue with the ac one night in our room and they moved people around and gave upgrades wherever they could to ensure everyone was as comfortable as possible. Then they got the ac fixed the next day. They really care about the comfort of their guests.

Big room and clean

The bed lining was very slippery and kept coming off in the middle of the night in the corners

Location was the best, I always go to Santa Teresa and this location is one of the best.

Perfect for my needs.
