Guesthouse Matsushiro Walkers

La struttura era davvero molto pulita e ben tenuta. Il proprietario è stato davvero molto gentile. Ci ha dato indicazioni su come andare alle Snow Monkey e in generale sull'area di Matsushiro. Matsushiro è a circa 40 minuti dalla stazione di Nagano, ed è un posto molto tranquillo. Vicino alla struttura c'è anche questo ristorante, 梅田屋, il cui last order era alle 21 quindi ci ha davvero salvato la serata quando siamo arrivate il primo giorno. Nella struttura c'era comunque la possibilità di comprare qualcosa da mangiare, tipo curry, riso e cup ramen.

Una sola toilet. Durante il soggiorno non è stato un problema (nonostante fosse al completo) ma nel caso in cui fosse stato occupato allora avremmo dovuto usare il bagno della stazione lì vicino.

If I could rate this place I would - the owner of this hostel is unbelievably wonderful. He really went above and beyond to help me with receiving my skis when they were delayed from weather - A little out of the city but the town is very lovely, will be sure to return -

Small but clean guesthouse with comfortable beds. The location is convenient and affordable, very close to the bus stop to Nagano Station. We also met some nice people during our stay, which was a plus.

The building is quite basic, and our private room for two was facing the road, so street noise from buses and trucks could be heard clearly. This is something to consider if you are a light sleeper. We only met the owner during check-in, and it wasn’t always easy to reach him afterward (for example, to rent a towel). Food is not allowed in the rooms, and there are specific rules regarding AC temperature. We personally didn’t mind and understand the reasons behind it, but it may not suit everyone.
