the place will be one of the most lovely painted houses you will have seen. Both Jamal and Mustapha are very kind people, making sure you have a great time there and will support you with everything you need! and I had the chance to enjoy a great dinner and some evening entertainment with them. the rooftop has a wonderful view and is just another perfect add on to the great time I had in the homestay! thank you for the great time

Hike and chill is probably the best hostel we stayed in Morocco. Situated in Old Medina it has a lot of charm and beauty. The tarrace has an amazing view of the area and the surrounding mountains. Super clean. The host Jamal is genuinely helpful and open to help and support in any way needed. The cat is great and he dds to the charm of the tarrace :) Also the brekfast is delicious

The atmosphere and vibes are great, and different than the rest of Morocco. The staff is very friendly and helpful. We also liked the cat a lot!

The location is a little hard to find, but the staff tries to make it as easy as possible.

The Hike and Chill Homestay is easily one of the best places we’ve ever stayed in on our travels! From the unique wall paintings to the cozy and inviting interior of the rooms and common living spaces, it all made us feel very at home. And then there’s Jamal, the legendary host of this hostel. He made our stay in Tinghir our favorite one in Marrocco so far by guiding us through the numerous activities of the beautiful surroundings and making us feel like locals by showing us all the best local shops and restaurants. In addition to all of the above, the homestay has super fast wifi and Jamals will serve you an amazing breakfast every morning. If we’re ever in Marrocco again we will definitely come back to this special place. Thank you Jamal for everything!

Amazing location and decor, the staff treated us like friends right from the start, showing us around the town and helping us organise our stay. The location is central and the terrace has a great view over the palms and the city. At the price point this place puts other hostels to shame.

We loved our stay at Jamal's Hike and Chill hostel. The host himself is super nice, he made us the most wonderful breakfast. This is the first time we have encountered European style hostel in Morocco and I must say it was fun meeting all the other tourists and people staying at this place. Also I highly recommend everyone to visit Tinerhir and its nearby Todra Gorge. It is a beautiful town with very polite people. During our journey through the south of Morocco, this was the city where we felt most welcomed.
