"Great hostel in PV!"

Perfect location between both little towns of Puerto Viejo and Cocles. The staff was very friendly and our private room and bathroom was very clean. The hammocks are some of the comfiest we have ever laid on!

Bathroom window is broken so bugs can get in.

Siany made us feel like at home :) She gave us all informations and even saw that we were sunburnt and brought Aloe Vera for us :) I like everything about this place :)

Siany: our host was the reason why Hostal Cecilia entered in our hearts to remain there. Siany is by far the kindest, happiest and warmest person we've found in Costa Rica. She treated us like her nephews since the beginning, explaining us tons of things about Puerto Viejo, helping us with our requests, always smiling. You have to choose Hostal Cecilia because of her!

If I could give it a rating higher than 10, I would without hesitation. One of the best hotels I've ever stayed at. Everything was wonderful: the room, the facilities, the cleanliness, and a special mention to Tito and Cian who made us feel at home. Costa Rica was even better because of them ♥️✨ pura vida!
