The location, Gecko on the roof

I needed to pay 76$ and everywhere in Costa Rica there is a normalized conversion of USD Dollar to Colonnes 1:500. However the staff insisted to charge 40000. When I raised this weird conversion, he told me it is due to the bank, which is obviously nonsense. Then he checked again and said that the conversion rate is 1:515. In the end I wanted to pay with Dollars of 80$ but never have gotten my change. This is totally a scam. DO NOT GO THERE.

Nothing excellent time

Large and nice room with plenty of storage space and kitchen. The bed was really comfortable and the shower was great! We enjoyed the private patio outside with the hammock. Location was good - close to the city but without the noise of the street.

There were a lot of dogs on the property. We were a bit disturbed by noise from the other rooms (very thin walls) and from construction going on nearby.

-the super annoying noises from 7am in the morning, there is no real roof on the room we had so you can hear everything, people talking extremely loud, Screaming, cooking, everything. If you get up early anyway no problem but we arrived late and just wanted to rest -the shower was very weird (I didn't want to use it) the entrance to the toilet/shower (it's in the same room) was in the kitchen
