Hostel U Zlatého kohouta

Accommodation in the very center of the city, not far from the castle, a perfectly adequate hostel for an overnight stay

the roommate was snoring a lot in the morning the lock on the cabinet was missing

The view from my window was amazing! The room was very clean.

The kitchen was poorly equipped, with the only appliances being a microwave and a kettle.

Front Desk is shared with the Hotel (of the same name) Front Desk Staff are generally rude and unfriendly, and definaitly make it clear you are "just a hostel guest" not a hotel guest. WIFI is erratic and does not work much of the time. Kitchen has no Tea or Coffee Was asked for an additional payment for city tax, even though booking says it was paid!

Beautiful place, great location, modern design. Supposedly a nice view from the top of the building, ok staff at the reception. Rooms heated quickly after we turned on the heating.

Unfortunately, we were given a room just below a hall where a wedding took place and we heard music and stumping until late at night. Also, the beds are not comfortable for those who are not used to sleeping on hard mattresses. Duvets had blood stains on them.
