Kaleidoszkóp Ház Guesthouse

(unrelated protest: do not use booking.con flights) Staying here was amazing - the place is better than the photos. Super friendly staff, very clean and comfortable, accommodating. There is a bar under the hostel that is open until 1 am. It's a nice opportunity to meet people from Esztergom and soak up the vibe. If you are sensitive to noise and plan to sleep earlier, bring earplugs. We had a great time and everyone was really warm, friendly and inviting. the best of our trip from Bratislava to Budapest.

Nothing about the room or hostel. But Booking.com scams people. In the future I would try to contact accomodations directly so I don't give any more money to this company.

the cleaning

The hostel is in a nice place in a nice location. The room and common bathroom facilities were clean. The building has its own unique atmosphere. Nice staff.

Relatively busy at night, impossible to eat. Soft beds. It was basically impossible to sit in the room and the balcony was always full. Not much privacy here. The necessity to pay every order at the bar immediately.

The host(s) were friendly and accommodating. The room was large. . Everything seems clean if ragged

Overall the place is a little shabby. Peeling paint and overall decay A faint musty smell.

Perfect location. There is a ruin bar under the hostel. There was a concert what was a little noisy, but if you like music/bars/nightlife it's the perfect place for you.

Little more cleaning would be nice in the toilet/shower. The hostel need a renovation in the future. However for this price I don't say these are big deals.
