Kaleidoszkóp Ház Guesthouse

The hostel is above a friendly little pub what we could even call a ruin bar, or at least it has the same vibes with many books and random items everywhere and I love places like that. The room itself was fine, we had a well-equipped kitchen available so you can even cook if you wanted but there are plenty of restaurants and shops nearby.

We had only one shower+toilet for all the rooms so it can be a bit hard to get in and once I could finally take a shower the water was cold but I guess it's just my luck. :) Otherwise it was all good for the price.

Funky and arty, had a great live band too . Right underneath the castle, short walk to thermal baths and downtown bars . The receptionist/ bar tender Kat was super friendly and helpful

the hostel was awesome! first off we got very clear instructions how to get into the hostel and into the room, which was very helpful. the room we stayed in was very spacious and also had a big window that we could open partly. we really liked the big kitchen with the kitchen table and also the bathroom is very big (toilet and shower are not separated though). everything was clean and towels were provided

the only thing i noticed was that the shower did not close completely (because it opens in both directions) so a lot of water could splash out into the bathroom. otherwise there is nothing negative to say about the hostel

The place is so cool

Kaleidoszkóp Ház Hostel is a funky wee hostel in a great location. Decorated with murals and interesting furniture. It's close to all the sights and services.... nice also to have a kitchen to breakfast in and make a coffee to get my morning started! It was another wet and windy day but there is a great outdoor space too... weather allowing! Responsive host.

That I couldn't stay longer. Lots to explore in Esztagorm.

Wonderful place, nice atmosphere and nice bar. It was a perfect place to stop on our bike trip to Budapest

Nice ambient hostel in the city center. It's made in rustic style with a lot of interesting details.

We were there in Saturday night, and in inner yard there was a party with life music. The party was very good and lasted until midnight. We actually liked it but if you plan to go to sleep earlier, be prepared to the loud music.
