Paradise Galle

The host, Mr Mangala and family members were very kind and hospitable. They shared their local home cook food and personally prepare tea and coffee for me which warm my heart. Also, they provided me with helpful travel information.like how to take the best public transport to reach my destination. The bed was very comfortable. This house has the charm. It has an edible garden with many fruit trees. I can say that indeed I had stayed in the paradise for two nights at Galle. True to its name, Paradise Galle. A highly recommended guesthouse in Galle!!

I had the best stay in this house ! 🥰 The room was super clean, the bed was comfortable and the AC worked perfectly. Also, the uncle who manages the house is really kind and helpful, he gave me nice recommendations for places where they have local food. Last but not least, they have the sweetest dog, Cathy 🥰 I highly recommend you staying at this beautiful and quiet house while you're in Galle. It's only a 20min walk to the Fort from there and if you don't like to walk you can just grab a tuktuk for a cheap price.

The colour combination of the property was so well. Everything was super clean and tidy. Loved the garden view 💗.

We stayed here in this place very cozy and reasonable price, and the homeowner was very hospitable.He always help us to sketch exact location for the places we go in city like beaches, etc. We stayed here for 4 days. Since day one until our last day before we left the house, his always preparing us coffee and sometimes fruits.This place is located in Galle less than 10 mins. via tuk-tuk from Galle Railway Station and Galle Fort.You are allowed to cook from there kitchen and can wash your clothes.Plus you will have a chance to meet this friendly giant dog 😍

A beautiful, Victorian style villa in the garden, located in a quiet place, not far from the beach and the city. The owner and his family are very kind and helpful. He arranged a bus seat for me and even drew a map, how to get to the bus stand. I got a spacious room, new and clean and could stay much longer, until I left for the bus. A wonderful experience in Galle.

Friendly owner, quiet location, spacious room, painted in bright colour, the accommodation is located in close vicinity to a beach, a bus stop, and a supermarket as well as local food stalls.

Value for money

Sheets had not been properly laundered. The young guy who was left in charge was friendly enough, but it felt like a converted prison or sanitorium. Old and tired and without a shred of the warmth and hospitality that was a feature of everywhere else I stayed in Sri Lanka.

Short tuk tuk ride/25 min walk from Galle Fort. Beautiful guesthouse with lovely calm dog and nice balcony, with tea and coffee on request. Host was extremely helpful with organising transport and giving advice on where to go
