The One Hostel Hongdae in Seoul - Foreigner Only

I have already book this guesthouse and I would totally recommend it for a small budget person. It has a really good price-quality ratio. The beds are comfortable and they all have a curtain to draw privacy. We also have a relatively big locker (for your computer or other valuables). A breakfast is included which is really great for the price. Just don't expect something incroyable.

There are only 2 bathrooms for the entire guesthouse so in the morning and the evening you have to wait to go to the toilet or take a shower.

area where you take off shoes before entering stank so bad of feet it was unbearable. pictures are very different as to how it actually looks, place was full of things everywhere and not clean and tidy like how it looks in the picture.

the location was quite nice and the locker had a great hight and also you were able to hang your jackets or towels.

For me the hole hostel looked like it really needs a deep clean. Everything seemed very used and old and also for me it smelled kinda rotten in there. The bed was okay but the mattress really need to be renewed because you could felt the slatted frame really strongly. But the most disgusting thing was the bathroom. Everything is wet in there because the hole bathroom is one shower. Also you have to wear shared bath slippers wich seemed very gross to me. And please do never take a look behind the toilet because there you will find a dirty toilet brush on the floor and when i first saw that i really felt like throwing up. If you want to stay there because it is so cheap, i recommend going to the gym to take a shower there. (That is basically what i did)

The location next to Hongdae street is great! Close to the restaurants, shops and its endless nightlife. It is in the center, but not very noisy. In this hostel you can meet people from all over t he world. Our room for 4 people looked very nice. Breakfast was a nice bonus. Would come back again)

The hostel stay was cheap. The location of this hostel is really good, just off a busy street with lots of restaurants, some bars, shops, and lots to do. Only a 10 min walk to the nearest metro station.

The hostel had a strange vibe/feeling to it as I believe it is someone's home that seems to have been half turned into a hostel. It meant you almost felt you needed to be silent at all times. We opted to stay here over a hotel so we could meet some people in a hostel environment, but the atmosphere meant that over 5 nights we didn't really speak to anyone. There were only 2 bathroom/shower rooms for the property so it could mean there was a wait at times if you weren't up early. It did not feel the cleanest and had quite a strong & strange smell to it.
