GoSolo Stays Bandra Hostel

Absolutely love Akash the owner. He is so warm and sweet that it made the entire stay so comfortable. The place is located closeby to Bandra which is great. I have never stayed in a dormitory ever in my life so I was taking a leap of faith this time as I did not want to spend on hotels as I was a solo traveller. The beds are clean, there are 2 charging points in the bed which is great, the AC is very cooling so you don’t feel hot. They don’t provide complimentary towels so please carry your own. They take 100₹ for a towel which you can use till you are staying which is not bad at all if you forget bringing the towel.

Just 2 things 1) There is a bit of a ventilation issue as the fans are in the middle of the ceiling and the beds are at the sides so the airflow is majorly in the centre where there is just flooring. However the AC is strong enough for you to fall asleep 2) The bathrooms are very small. I get it that its a hostel, so maybe my expectation is incorrect. But the bathrooms are small in size. Manageable for sure but yeah just something I wish was a litttttlee bit bigger.

I usually dont sleep very well at hostels but this was very comfortable, its also clean and very friendly staff, good atmosphere!

Extremely friendly and helpful staff, very welcoming. Clean facilities. Nice, small and safe neighbourhood. Garden and balcony to spend the evenings. Good breakfast. Comfortable beds.
