Felt like at home The hosts are very friendly and welcoming The hostel is located in the middle of the village but in a quiet street The kitchen The coffee The beds are comfortable slept like a baby Very clean Hot shower

When the air conditioning is on, it leaks water on the unit outside and it goes right on where the clothes are hanging just below it. Other than that, everythings perfect

I really really recommend staying at hostel papagaio. It immediately felt like home, it is a very intimate hostel and the owners are just great hosts. It’s super clean and the common area feels like a living room, the kitchen is perfectly equipped and there is free coffee and if you are lucky snacks. I wouldn’t have left if I didn’t have to! Thank you so much for the amazing stay <3

"Too pricy for what you get"

Staff is friendly, the place is clean. There is water filter. The location is good. It’s fine for a short stay to explore a bit the island but I didn’t have a great experience because of electricity issues on the island.

Too expensive for what you get. Beds are not very comfortable and no curtains/private space. It’s hard to charge your devices. There was no electricity for my whole stay so it was super hot and sweaty in the night and we couldn’t really sleep. I can’t recommend Ilha Grande in general.
