The localisation

Don't go there! This is the worst hostel experience we have had. Contrary to what is mentioned, the services are not present. It is important to know that there are often power cuts on the island and the majority of hotels are prepared for this with a generator. But this hostel doesn't have one. So we had no power, wifi, fridge (which made us get sick) for 4 days. The room was dirty, not cleaned even though there were 9 of us in it, and we didn't even have toilet paper! Without air conditioning and with such a temperature, we barely slept for 4 days because it was extremely hot in the room, not to mention the mosquitoes, so much so that we had to book a room in the hotel across the street (same price) with swimming pool and generator (so wifi, air conditioning etc.) and breakfast included.

I 100% recommend you to stay at this hostel. Heloise and Giselle were the most helpful and kind people. It’s right by the beach, with shops around but still feels peaceful. Has a full kitchen and great Wi-Fi. The hostel is small, but very clean and homely. Heloise helped sort my transfer back to the mainland at short notice, even taking me down to the dock showing me which boat to get. Thank you for making me feel so welcome!

One of the best hostel I stayed in! Giselle and Eloïse are super welcoming and the other guests were all very friendly. The hostel being quite small, it's easy to get to know all the guests. The location is perfect, in the center of Abrãao, you can walk everywhere easily.

I wish I could have stayed longer!

The staff was great and gave the guests a warm welcome. You easily got to know people and the atmosphere has been great. It is a very basic hostel, but would go there again.

Lower bunk beds are really low, you cannot even sit. But small detail.

The owners are amazing! So friendly and fun! The location is perfect! Central, convenient and quiet! Feels like home. The AC is perfect for the night. I get cold easily and usually don’t like AC but the weather is very hot so feels very comfortable at night even sleeping right under the AC.

The 3 level bunk beds give you no space to sit and the room is a little small for 8 people. And also only 1 bathroom for 8 people.
