A bit too crowded for 1 shower room

The hostel feels more like a home. My four bed room was super spacious with even a dedicated desk area and they offered all the facilities from a fully equipped kitchen to laundry room and gym. It’s conveniently located near a mall (more the old school one) that has a supermarket and traditional restaurants. The receptionist spoke great English and where willing to give recommendations for the city

We liked the location. Easy to find. Important places within walking distance - mall with grocery store, mobile operator. Coffee shop with plant milk options right next door! Kitchen was easy to use. Watercooler provided for guests' use. The shared bathrooms were neat and cleaned often. The AC worked well, as did the internet. The common areas were pleasant, although we didn't spend much time there. Laundry was easy to use, but is charged separately. One of the staff members helped us book bus tickets online to Karakol - thanks! They stored some of our luggage for a few days between bookings.

One of the shower drains in the women's bathrooms tended to clog and cause the water to collect and spill out of the cube. The bathroom was neat, though, and I suppose they fixed this after I mentioned it. Would be nice if all the staff at reception have some basic knowledge of transport options to the most important towns. We got some incorrect information first, but managed to get the correct info and help from another staff member at reception on our last evening. Minor, but will be greatly helpful since a lot of hikers look for onward travel info to key spots.
