Location was amazing, great value

The staff were not the most welcoming compared to other hostels I’d stayed at. I felt like more effort could have been made to say hi to customers. Often staff would not smile as they go by you, didn’t say hi; engage in conversation. It felt like they were there as a group of friends, they’d congregate in the kitchen but didn’t involve much of the customers. It’d be nice to see activities promoted by the staff for customers and create joint events. There was a rodeo on during my stay, it would have been a great opportunity to promote events like this - instead the staff said they were going to try and go to a rodeo and didn’t invite anyone. Normally hostel staff are more welcoming but it didn’t seem to have that culture.

Centrally located in Bozeman main street, so you can walk to any central shop and public transport station (just behind the hostel). Definitively the cheapest accommodation option available in Bozeman. The provided breakfast is a good addition. The main shared bathroom was ok, also to take a shower.

The hostel is in a old building basement, with no windows, underneath pubs and with many noisy systems continuously running. No air conditioning, with a old noisy portable fan provided in the room. The single bed room was less than too basic, with an uncomfortable bed, noisy due to the very thin walls (you hear people whatever they are doing in their room), and with corridor light from underneath the door. The wifi was terrible, slow and continuously disconnecting. The bathroom has a very noisy system that activates after each use, making very uncomfortable every time people are using it during the night. The shared kitchen was messy, dirty and located together with the very noisy washing machines and side to the shared bathrooms.

Good location for downtown Bozeman. Great thrift shops nearby and places for food. Breakfast simple but ok and common room large to relax in.

I'm not sure what exactly we paid so much money for- We had to make our own beds and strip them again. Fan in room covered in dust. Only two showers. Felt like an expensive stay for what feels like a prison cell/room. It's underground so no windows in the room. Extremely noisy because it is below a bar, all night long we can hear chairs scraping across the floor above our heads. Beds have a waterproof protector on which scrunches every time you move in bed. Private room with two single beds- very small. Couldn't open suitcase on the floor. I've travelled the world and this is the most expensive hostel for the least service.
