Treasure State Hostel

Staff was lovely, facilities were well kept, breakfast exceeded my expectations. I'll definitely be coming back!

I only wish there was AC or a stronger fan. It is quite warm in those rooms in the summer.

Staff very nice good location. Nice library. Quiet after 10pm.

Intense lights on all night in hall illuminated room through crack under door. Poor ventilation. The hostel is in the basement level of the building. No windows. No curtains on upper bunk

the breakfast was good (loved my bagels plus spreads +fruit, nice provision of coffee and milk), and you can go next door to Main Street Overeasy Cafe for any eggs. Nice library room with lots of books and there's a movie room too.

So with a mixed room, it was quite dank in smell but the worse was the misfortune of having someone snoring so loud throughout the night that another girl in the room left in the middle of the night to go somewhere else. I then had to sleep out on the sofa because it was so impossible to sleep (even with earplugs), and then when I entered the room again around 4am, another gentleman had joined and it was like a duelling session of who can snore the loudest so I had to move rooms - which the hostel and staff accommodated, and of course paid to join an all- female room. The location is great on the Main St.

Didn't have the breakfast. Location was excellent, in the pleasant, buzzy center of downtown Bozeman. Staff was friendly. I think I just forgot how much less nice American hostels are compared to European ones. Basement room, no window, plastic covered bare mattresses, slightly stained (but clean) sheets. I guess this is just what $90 gets you.
