Comfortable but somewhat old fashioned, typical uni accommodation.

It's a student dorm. The doors have soundproofing, so I didn't hear any noise from the corridor. Good bathroom (water does not spill from the shower). Very pleasant staff, also someone is at the reception 24 hours a day, so you can come out/in any time in the night. Bed was comfortable. Bus to the train/bus station leaves quite often and takes ~ 10 minutes. There is few € discount for those who have ISIC.

Trams in the front of the building were a bit loud, but I still managed to sleep well, and I am a light sleeper.

Overall, I had a superb stay. There was a good Wi-Fi connection in the room. The room had a TV, a fridge/freezer and a kettle to make tea or coffee. The room had two single beds, two good-sized wardrobes for storage of clothes, jackets, bags and my luggage. It also had two armchairs and a nice sitting table. The beds were clean and very comfortable. The bathroom was clean and had all the basic necessities. The Uni canteen operates at the place during working days (Monday to Friday) and I went there for tasty lunches at a very reasonable price - highly recommended.

There was no microwave to warm up food in the evening or during the weekend. I would put more information for tourists or details of some events/attractions nearby/for different periods during the year. A thin information booklet was hidden in the drawer when I arrived. I would update it in order to promote the City of Košice and the different parts of Eastern Slovakia.
