Intoy's Place Panglao near Beach

Intoy’s Place is an amazing family hostel. I stayed in the female dorm and it was incredibly clean, comfortable and quiet. The family who run this hostel are genuinely lovely people who went out of their way to help us and make sure we were having a great time - which we did! The location is great, we hired motorbikes so could easily drive 5 minutes to Alona Beach, but even without, it would be so easy and cheap on a tricycle. Plenty within walking distance too.

Great place to stay, super friendly and helpful family, I asked for some help before our arrival for a birthday in our group and the manager very kindly organised birthday decor, cake and drinks!! It was all perfect. Lots of information provided about activities in the area. We also rented motor bikes for a good price. Good breakfast choices in the morning.

Shower pressure was a little weak, but good temperature and shampoo/shower gel provided

I booked a small studio for myself for a few days as I wanted a place to switch off and have some alone time. It was a good size and had more or less everything I needed. I had a little kitchen for cooking some dishes as I wanted to save on eating out. It had the basics - kettle, stove, pot, pan, plates. I had my own bathroom with a shower. I could also organize tours at this stay which was helpful. The staff were very nice and helpful here. They helped me when I wanted to take the local bus to Tagbilaran (the cheapest option to save on money). This stay is a bit out of the main town Alona, so if you don't mind to walk 20-30 mins or take a scooter, it's a nice out of town option!

The free breakfast option was a bit bland (toast & egg) and repetitive. I would suggest adding some fruit and offering some alternative options. It also would be great to have a fridge in the studio, so that I can store my own food here.

- 1. Staff: Really nice, friendly and supportive. If you got any questions, they are always there to help! 2. Breakfast: simple but nice ( 2x sliced bread w/ Jam and butter, egg, seasonal fruit and a cup of coffee) 3. Wifi: Free wifi at room 4. Transporation: Offer Shuttle service from airpot to their places (1000 peso for trans in and trans out)

- 1. Location: a bit far from main street, need to take tuktuk or scooter to visit the main street/Alona beach/restaurants 2. Noise: my room is pretty close to the street, so you could hear cars going by, ppl talking and even when the plane flys over 3. Cleaniness: There are a lot of ants, and the windows in the shower room can’t be closed, which allows mosquitoes to come in through that area.

Staff was super friendly and helpful, they help you with booking tours and transportation and give good advice. Room was nice and comfortable. A lot of good and chill international restaurants and bars around. Breakfast was really good and at a very good price.

Maybe the location, but if you rent a scooter or book a tuktuk it takes less than 10 min to reach the better spots!

Joseph the tuktuk driver was always happy to drop us to places, and was really helpful! Staff were happy to help, and got up early to cook us breakfast on the last day!

The room was very small and cramped. We only had a fan in the room, which made the room very warm, however we had booked this and there are some air con rooms available just none when we booked. The drains and bathroom had a smell, with lots of bugs coming in through the bathroom. There were a few restaurants nearby but we will still had to get a tuktuk into the main part of town.
