Intoy's Place Panglao near Beach

Good size room

- Dirty bathroom (I had to call them to clean the dirty toilet!). - Very noisy, facing noisy street - Very small breakfast: one fried egg with 2 slices of white bread, a spoon of margarine and another one of plum jam.

It has a good location and the staff was friendly. You will get all the information you need about the tours and there is a tuk tuk from the accommodation that can take you to the airport. Book in advance if you have an early flight. Water is available in the reception. I liked the fact that the towels were good quality.

There were shampoo and gel recipients but there was nothing in them. So as a recommendation to the staff-fill them in or remove them. It would have been nice to have a little soap for the hands. There was something wrong with the lock in our room. My friend got locked when she closed the door. The floor was a little dusty.

The staff is very friendly and the architecture and design is very nice.

The breakfast included in the booking is very basic: two slices of bread with butter and jelly and one egg, plus one coffee.

Great location, short tuktuk ride or 30 minute walk from the busy Alona Beach area and nice to escape to somewhere more quiet at night. Friendly staff and a nice welcome. Simple but nice breakfast. Air con powerful. Room spacious with a good fridge. Very clean and bed comfortable. TV with Netflix, prime etc. internet generally good.

The shower pressure was weak, but I think this is quite standard in the Philippines. The property has a small dog which is kept downstairs and barks a lot overnight. The room would benefit from a table lamp to allow softer light in the evening - the light in the ceiling is very bright and harsh.

One thing that I liked about the place was you will never be treated like a guest, instead they (Ate Mitch and Ate Hedda) will treat you like their own family member. A walking distance to the beach, which is a good site to watch the sun set. You can also walk to Alona centre, though can be a tad far, but can be your exercise for the day. But why walk, when you can rent their motorbikes, or even get driven by kuya Joseph to where you want on his tuktuk for a better price than the usual. A place for those on a budget, but wants to feel special and immerse on a local boholano family culture.

The people there is amazing, hospitable and caring.
