Mitra Hostel Vagator

The cleanliness of the place is top notch everything from the dorms to the common areas was spotless and well-maintained. The staff were incredibly helpful and always went out of their way to make sure I had a comfortable stay. Their warm hospitality truly made me feel at home.The meals were delicious, fresh, and reasonably priced, making it super convenient to enjoy great food without having to step out. The hostel also has a great vibe, perfect for meeting fellow travelers.

Staff were extremely helpful, polite and welcoming. Location is brilliant.

Cleanliness, The common areas were so messy, cigarette butts and bottles all over. There is a beautfiful roof top, but sheets, beds, cushions were pathetic and smelly. AC were not functioning, AC's were out of GAS and we had to manage with a fan. Rooms didn't have fan, so we had to borrow one from the front desk.

I stayed at Mitra Hostel with some people from our group, i loved it so I decided to stay there after my friends went home, for a total of 3 weeks 😊 Super kind and accommodating receptionists, clean rooms with nice AC and showers, outside lobby area is comfortable and cooler temperature than the surrounding area and very central. Loved the food coming out of the kitchen and met some new friends there too👌☺️ Also the Hostel dog named Goldie was good at his job protecting guests from wild monkeys and unwanted dogs, and not once bothered anyone for scratches or food. Highly recommend!

The location is great, the staff is excellent, and the best thing is their kitchen; everything they cook tastes like home 😋 if you are in Vagator & not staying in Mitra you are missing something

Very-Very small room for a 4-sharing dorm, AC was literally on top bunk bed, no AC remote in room, no sunlight. Lizards and mosquitos in room. No space to put luggage. Common area sitting wasn't cleaned.

Staff was amazing, especially Zaya who helped us arrange lots of things and was very helpful. Location was great, close to beach and very quiet.

It was one of the most chill hostels I've ever stayed at. The staff was super laid-back and lax on many things. You never felt like you were being judged or watched. They made you feel comfortable and were always happy to help with anything. All the guests were likewise very chill and sociable. I would definitely recommend this place for those who want an uncomplicated stay in Goa. They have a couple of locations, too; all very chill with a cool layout.

Could be cleaner, not a major problem, though.
