Mitra Hostel Vagator

Good value for money. Nice peaceful location. Staff were friendly and helpful. Especially Zaya who was always happy to help even though we were a big group.

Mitra was a wonderful home for our group, which came together in Goa from all over the world. It lived up to its promise—the private rooms were cosy and clean, and the dorms were also well-maintained. The location was excellent—green, peaceful, and away from the noise, ensuring a good night’s sleep. The highlight of our stay was the staff. They were incredibly kind, always welcoming, and eager to help, making sure everyone in our group—many of whom were visiting for the first time—felt comfortable and well taken care of. A special mention to Zaya, our main point of contact, who was exceptional and went above and beyond to assist us throughout our stay.

I enjoyed the vibe and the entire atmosphere the two hosts brought into the place. It was a really short trip for me but some conversations i will take ahead for a long time.

Central location

Not a welcoming vibe at entrance. Helpfulness depended on the staff member. Room felt very musty.
