The bathroom is old, the toilet is very cramped and shared by each floor, and there are ten beds in one room and about three rooms on the other floor. The entrance is unsuitable for customers. I do not recommend it despite its cheap price.There is no ventilation for the toilet in the men's room; the smell permeates the room.

The hotel owner and staff are wonderful and understanding.

I absolutely loved my stay here. From the moment I arrived, it felt safe, warm, and truly like home. The hostel itself looks like one of the iconic Zaandam “Lego houses” — so charming and picture-perfect from the outside! . My favorite part was definitely the private bathroom — super clean, comfortable, and such a luxury for a hostel. The rooms were beautifully decorated, the curtains added this cozy touch, and everything felt quiet, calm, and protected I also loved that the room had a perfect mirror setup — amazing for the girlies who want to do their makeup or fix their hair before heading out. Such a thoughtful touch! It’s the kind of place where you can relax, unwind, and feel genuinely taken care of. I would happily stay here again and recommend it to anyone who wants comfort, safety, and a homely vibe while travelling. 💛

Great location, overnight parking nearby free from evening to morning restricted hours. Quick check in. Clean and comfortable.

As elderly struggled with spiral staircase to first floor and difficulty worse carrying bags. Once registered and given entry codes did not see reception to ask for assistance. Had to park car around corner and take the challenge of balancing with one hand holding tightly onto stair rail as negotiating steps and pulling bags. We made it but a treacherous experience, same on departure! Well worth the effort as a very comfortable bed and clean en suite shower room.
