The Cornish Bank Flats

Location was perfect, walking distance to the main town and beach.

I had my window open due to the heat, and experienced too much noise from the streets and from neighbors. Also the stairway was too crowded, clumsy and not so clean.

Great location. The room was excellent for the price. Bunk Beds were clean and comfortable. The kitchen had everything required for cooking. The shared bathroom was very clean and had a good shower and a washing machine. The venue downstairs was really great, amazing nights of different entertainment. Bar staff were lovely. The outdoor beer garden was nice. This is an excellent place to stay for the location, remember there's live music in the evening which can be heard upstairs in the rooms. Didn't bother us due to watching the performances / bands, which was a great addition to our stay. My teenage son had such a great experience, listening to various kinds of music. The accommodation is cleaned daily. Excellent communication with Dan who manages the accommodation. Definitely would stay again for a couple of days.

Good Location Clean Easy to find Good Value

The check in was poor and disorganised. We were given the key to someone else's room and their items were in it!. We went to a wedding and was told the correct key would be left for us...arrived back at midnight, the wrong key to someone else's room was left again. Struggled to get hold of anyone for ages. Finally did...and had to be given a master key to get into the correct room. Requested a refund....not a good experience, can't get the basics right.

We were given an unmade up room by yourselves it was the wrong room that was rectified after the host contacted me. In your brief about the room you said that the music stops at 11pm it doesn’t it’s midnight. There is no mention that the room is over a music venue until you have booked

This not a place to stay if you have a young family. Though they mention events will be going on - there is no duty of care to the guests about how that will impact your stay. I would never recommend staying here if they have events on to anyone, whether they have children or not - you will hear everything.

Contacted management to order towels several times and never got a reply! It is noisy from the club below and street noise but this is to be expected, take ear plugs!

Quite noisy due to the location many people queuing outside to get into clubs and leaving clubs which is too be expected in the location. Noise also due to others staying in room next door and hearing them getting up and moving around as walls very thin But didn't bother us excessively. We booked as we were attending a hen night wouldn't book if you are wanting an early nightww
