Good quality coffee supplied. Fireplace was set up upon arrival and ready to use. Braai grid clean and ready to use. Beautiful scenery and kitchen had the best toasted sandwiches after a long drive to get there !

The shower drain was blocked but staff quickly assisted even though it was late.

The Backpackers is surrounded by beautiful nature and offers great views of the mountains and valleys. Our personal highlight was the open yoga room with a view of the three Hogs. You can start wonderful hikes directly from there. The staff were very helpful and friendly.

Our room was quite dark and unfortunately smelled a bit musty.

Nice location.

Not as advertised on Booking.com. Horrible little bath that needs maintenance as it wasn't working properly. The toilet was leaking and made noise the whole time. Old and rotten curtains that need to be replaced.

Unfortunately Eskom went down & it rained non-stop. No fault of the lodge, but in those conditions facilities were very limited
