Beautiful location, friendly receptionist, quiet night.

The room was very dated. Hasn't had much of an upgrade, or maintenance for many years. Small things things like very old, scratchy and thin towels, a very faded and worn shower curtain, an ancient shower rose, swollen wooden doors that stuck and even the lack of a fan in the summer were a negative. Also having nowhere to sit in the room except the bed would get old fast if we stayed more than a night. We weren't impressed that for R 1000/night we couldn't be provided with a bar of soap in the shower but rather that you had to purchase a bath pack for R 50 from reception.
