Away with the Fairies Nature Lodge and Backpackers

The location and staff were excellent at exceeded all our expectations.

The hot water system was inadequate and shared with the neighbors so ran out of hot water at times The shower drain was blocked and when the neighbors showered it bubbled up in our shower.

If only. . . If only it was a getaway, instead of an overnight. If only we had more time. Plan better next time, and stay a few days to absorb and experience the true splendor of Hogsback. (Note to myself) It does not matter the season, nor the weather (it was a chill, rainy day when we stayed here), Away with the Faeries is pure soul food. Take time for the road less traveled over and down the other side of the mountain. You will find the angels blessing you with even more beauty.

They forgot to stack firewood for the stove. And, since it had been raining all day, finding dry wood and kindling outside was a challenge. Fortunately Adi came to the rescue.
