Sundaze Samet Hostel & Hangout

Hollie and Golf (not even mentioning Bamboo, the loveliest doggo manager ever) are just one of the bestest human beings I’ve ever met with! They are adorable, caring, fun and sooo welcoming! The location is more than perfect, the matress and pillow couldn’t be more perfect and the porch, the lovely porch is just the bestest place for hanging out, working, chilling and making new friendships!

There's nothing I can say that is bad about Sundaze, not only is the vibe/atmosphere perfect but the owners Holly & Golf are the most amazing people and so caring. If you want to join a little family and have the best experience of the island then this is the place for you, not too lively like a party hostel but stil also much fun for people who want to experience everything the island has to offer and come home to a comfy and well conditioned dorm. Perfect location, hippie pizza just down the road is great and so close to some amazing beaches! You absolutely cannot regret booking here.

Absolutely nothing

It's such a great overall vibe! The location was perfect, the facilities were super cool and comfortable, and I loved that you could have your privacy when you wanted and socialised with the super nice and helpful owners & other guests staying there. I would definitely recommend it!

1st time staying at a hostel + 1st time on Koh Samet . The owner was super chill & friendly. Met new friends too!! good vibes all around such a cool experience ,Def going back for sure!

GO GO GO HERE!!! Golf, best host ever. Comfy room, super clean, no problem with mixed dorm. Everyone has its own space to sleep, like a little capsule and a locker for storage. Showers, bath super clean and comfortable. Golf is just lovely host - A local, he know almost everything and helps you if you need something. If you don't go you'll miss something. The island is also just lovely.

The hostel is well located, walkable from the pier even with a very heavy backpack. It’s next to all the shops with plenty of bars and restaurants for the evenings. The main beach is just at the end of the street with loads of other lovely little beaches and bays that you can reach by scooter or walk if it’s not too hot. The vibe is very sociable without being a party hostel. The outside area makes it easy to meet people and gives you somewhere nice to sit with a book and a beer. The little snuggies/ rooms/ whatever that you sleep in are a generous size with enough space to sit up properly and room to keep some bits in there with you. The bathroom is clean and everything works perfectly with 4 showers and 3 toilets between a maximum of 10 people. Golf is THE BEST host on the planet, always went above and beyond to look after us. He’s so kind and generous and up for a laugh- he really made the trip for me. I planned to stay for 3 night but ended up extended my stay because it couldn’t get enough of the slow paced island life here. Ko Samet was never on my list to visit but after staying here it has a place in my heart and I would recommend it to anyone.

Nice location. Friendly staff The atmosphere is very relaxed and quiet. The alcove is simple and very comfortable. The shower is functional, but I would have liked to have a shower gel/shampoo dispenser. I thank the staff for the padlock that I did not have with me

I It's a shame that we can't use the small kitchen behind the counter a little more easily.

My second time at this hostel and I liked its location, cleanliness and the good vibes as much as the first time.
