LR Hostel and Cafe

Just needed a stay overnight for some sleep on my way from Cebu to Dumaguete

Nothing special as it was cheap and good value for the money

Great stay at this hostel and right where the bus picks you up and drops you off. Owner was super kind, and showed here kick-ass cooking skills both at breakfast and diner. Prices of drinks and food are also great for the quality you receive. We also rented a motorcycle which went without any issues (and bike was great). Really great value deal.

A bit far from the busy touristy side of Moalboal but can be overcome by renting a motorcycle or taking a cab.

Mosquito are very bad , better to charge 100 peso more per day ,than put up with them biting you during your night

Quality - price relation insuperable. Staff is very helpful and kind, she helped us a lot. Room was well equiped; aircon, wifi and hot water in shower worked perfectly all 3night we stayed. Also have a line outside for your wet clothes, as well as a table and chairs to chill at night. Breakfast was good, you can choose among some filipino and western dishes. Location is aprox 4km away from Paragsama beach (not a deal if ride a mbike, but it will cost you 150php to get there by tricycle) but 2min walking you have a mall with a good supermarket, and a various food options (local carinderias, also McDonald's and some tourist focused rest at walking distance)

Just to say something; room was fine but there are no stands to place your stuff, just some hangers; though this seems to be a standard in Phillipines.

The staff was very helpful and kind to any needs I had while I stayed. It is a very convenient location. I extended my stay from one week to 6 weeks. I will definitely return when I come back the the Philippines in December. I would recommend it to others.
