Surfing Wombats

JUSTIN!!! De host is very cool and helpful. We stayed in a tent, which was very nice :)) The location is very good, close to the beach but also close to a busstation (if you want to go to Mirissa or Weligama).

If the hostel would be crowded, I think the experience would be completly different; much more noice and you would have to share the bathroom and toilet with a lot of people.

LOVED everything about our stay! The people the place the food, wow!

The staff very friendly&kind, great location in Midigama- close to the beach, to good local resteraunts, cafes.

Incredibly amazing staff. I felt like they really cared for me and that they would take care of me no matter what I needed. The community there was amazing as well. Very friendly travelers, lots of great activities from open mics to ping pong tournaments to board game nights. Great location near some solid surf. Comfortable queen beds in the dorms! Amazing pizza and even a projector room where we had cozy movie nights!

More private restrooms would have been nice as well as a bit more space for the hostal crew to gather and make their own.

The staff was really nice. Nice chill spots outside of your room. Really good pizzas and unlimited drinking water!

We didn’t like that there was no airconditioning, but we knew this beforehand. Could be a big plus!

Surfing Wombats has an amazing vibe and everyone was super friendly and helpful. The location is great- very easy to get around on scooter if you wanna try different beaches.

We stayed in the tent which was very comfy, but also quite mouldy (I guess they change it regularly, but unfortunately we probably arrived before changing 😄)

Open Mic Night on Tuesday was amazing 😍
