Bread&Breakfast

One of my favourite places I stayed on a 9 month around the World trip. The owner Mike is really amazing, he makes you feel really welcomed and encourages everyone to interact, something that's sadly lacking in many hostels around the World these days. I can't recommend staying here highly enough. Look forward to revisiting again someday soon.

It’s very close to the city centre and terminal station of the airport bus 100, just a short walk. The couple room double bed is very comfortable, just watch out for your head that the ceiling is slanted. Luckily there are warning signs to let you know it is slanted. It is a sort of charity/social work place, which is very good to hear that my money went to something positive! The place was very calm and not busy in October, we didn’t have any issues with sound (but the hallway tiles do creak). It has a mosquito repellant and bedside tables etc. The bathrooms were modern and clean.

Maybe a second pillow would be nice but yeah, for the price it’s acceptable.

It had everything you need, it is like the owner was reading my mine. Need a garbage can? It's there. Need an hairdryer? It's there. Need to scare away mosquitos? They had a diffusor in the room. There was toilet paper and paper to dry the hands, towels, AC, a fully equipped kitchen. It was very secure as they had codes in all door. They had flexibility to let me check in before and kept my luggage after checkout. And I found out this is a social economy project meaning what you pay finances social projects such as employing local young poor people. I didn't know about this otherwise I would have stayed longer but then it was fully booked so I couldn't book more nights.

Maybe a pen to label food in the kitchen. Nobody took my food and the fridge was quite tidy and clean but would be useful in case some guests buy equal food/drinks. The stairs may make it hard to go up with the luggage though one of the staff members helped me.

Great hostel! Comfortable rooms, lots of bathrooms, the space was clean. Great location close to our bus pick-up point.
