Private Heated Bedrooms at The Bunkhouse in Snowdonia Perfect for Bikers and Walkers

Everything you need for a short stay - we were there only until 4 am the following morning, but we had everything we needed. It has really friendly and helpful staff, and the location is ace.

Good location for Cadair Idris. Communal space would be great if you had booked all of the rooms.

It wasn't clear that the shared bathroom would be in the campsite and that you would need to go across the courtyard and into a completely separate building. The guttering leaked and there was a constant dripping throughout the night. All of the other rooms were booked by a large party who got up at 5am for an event. The kitchen was being used for their catering and it would have been impossible for us to cook anything if we'd needed to. No objections to the event (it was for charity) but perhaps we could have been warned? From 6am there was a continuous noise, possibly an extraction fan, from the building next to us. Although the bedding appeared clean the pillows smelt and I woke up with several bites. There are no plug sockets in the rooms or in the toilet block so we had to plug in a hairdryer in the kitchen.
